The guitarist Lukas Häfner, who lives in Munich, feels at home on both the acoustic and the electric guitar. His musical youth takes place mainly in his room, where he spends hours jamming to records by Jonny Lang, Robben Ford or B.B. King, and develops his love for the blues. In 2015 he was awarded the Kurt Maas Jazz Award for his playing and compositions.

Lukas has toured as a sideman with internationally renowned artists such as Tom Gregory and Jaimi Faulkner and shared the stage with jazz trumpeter Sebastian Studnitzky, the Jazzrausch Bigband and American neo-soul singer Jesse Boykins III. His feel for sounds and stylistic versatility also make him a sought-after studio guitarist. His guitars can be heard on German film productions such as “La Palma”, “Hin und weg” or the ZDFneo series “Breaking Even”.

In 2021 his solo debut album “Fields” will be released, on which he focuses entirely on the acoustic guitar with nine restrained but by no means plain original compositions.

Together with Stephanie A. Kruse he composed and produced the music for the LAX VOX® soundtrack. He worked creatively and mindfully with pitches, sounds and moods so that they support the desired voice and mood goal.
